Once again my husband was inspired to create a masterpiece cocktail! No, I am not audacious, the cocktail is my new absolute favourite! Surely you remember that I had mentioned my husbands talent for mixing drinks in “The Passion Mary Cocktail” article. Since that we have been having fun together working out new flavours and perfect combinations. Actually it had all started much earlier!
When we had gone to Palolem beach with my sister and co., we had taken some time out of our lives and enjoyed to be served lovely food on the beach. Of course we indulged in some little alcohol fun, precisely a little cocktail refreshment. My husband used to make fun of me because I always ended up ordering the same cocktail, the Pina colada. Most of the cocktails on bar menus are either not my taste choice or too strong and I don’t like to be disappointed so I go for the save bet. He challenged that he would be able to change my mind by creating a cocktail to my liking.
My conclusion is that I have good preferences, of course there is no taste measurement system in this world but I introduced a lots of flavours to my senses and many of you have confirmed it too! In my mind I have 3 groups of flavour categories, the first is the best of the best, the second medium and the third something I ll never consider popping into my mouth again. It gets more complex the more flavours are combined and some of the 3rd class flavours might turn into 2nd class or even 1st by mixing them with fitting ingredients and vice versa. I can even give you an example! I hate the taste of spinach, BUT there is a dish called Palak Paneer which I absolutely adore!
We all have our top and worst dish preferences, right? With time they even change because our lives are not constant either, everything is always moving, but a small group of dishes and drinks will stand by you forever because they balance out our lives in a perfect manner. Keeping that in mind we invented the devine Diva Cocktail. My husband perfectionized it and I was the testing bunny first. Later on we even had a chance to introduce it to a group of people. It is a smooth serene cocktail, filled with flavours which are not overpowering each other. You will feel elated with the first sip and you will try to figure out what all is inside. Its a bit of a guessing game for some. Carrot is a key ingredient and its easy to guess its presence in the blend. As we predicted the drink was highly favoured by our Lady guests. That’s because we girls tend to choose a light cocktail kick and my husband had fabricated the drink keeping that in mind. Served in a champagne saucer and garnished with gherkin pickles it will high lighten your day or evening and comforting you with its exotic ingredients blend.

Very creative! I wish my boyfriend made me more cocktails. It’s nice to have a drink that is ‘yours’. Looks like a great mix of flavours.
